Anissa is a poet who writes heavily about love, healing, and spirituality. She aims to connect with readers on a profound level by being vulnerable about her own journey and traumatic experiences. She is a mother to a beautiful daughter who is on the autism spectrum. Anissa is passionate about educating her peers of the myths and misconceptions surrounding neurodivergence. She is a fairly new author, with four published books so far.
Her first book, 'THEN SHE ROSE' breaks down the healing journey into three parts: the past self, the self-discovery, and the reborn self. Her second book, 'LOVER GIRL' invites readers on the crazy whirlwind that is love. Her third installment, VIBRATING HIGHER is a motivational piece with 111 Days of Affirmations. Lastly, her most recent addition, SOMBER SOUL is a poetry book that serves as a voice for the darkness that follows toxic relationships and loss of pregnancy.
